Easy parking, little bit of a walk down some steps or a more gentle slope available (recommend the slope, takes a bit longer but less tiring) Amazing place to relax for an evening. Food and drink available at the stalls! We had a Focaccia flat bread which was delicious.

Unlike the fine golden sand of many other Cornish beaches, the "sand" at Carlyon Bay is more coarse, with a unique texture. The calm, clear waters of the bay make it a great spot for swimming, paddleboarding, and other water sports. Jet ski safaris and other activities are usually available for rent

Beautiful beach with a free privately owned carpark at the top, 80+ steps or a sloping path down but definitely worth it

Lovely big space for children and dogs. Quite a steep drop off between the beach and low tide, so staying close bye kids and pets recommended. Awesome food court with plenty of choice, including a bar and beach shop. Crinnis is a must for a great salad bowl. Fairly easy walk to neighbouring Spit beach for very interesting sea life we don't get on the north coast. Great to keep the kids occupied for hours.

Lots of facilities open on the beach (April 2nd 2026), very nice options for lunch and tea, a little beach shop, ice cream, bar, jet ski hire, disabled parking in quite big car park. Clean beach. Slight hill to get to the beach but worth it.
