Beautiful small beach close to our hotel, peaceful early morning stroll. Access from beach to NT St Catherine’s Castle up steep path but with sturdy shoes worth the climb.
Very beautiful little beach set in a small dip between two cliffs. Very clean water, very soft sand, with simple amenities (shop, toilets) right on the beach. 15 min walk from the town centre across the top of the cliffs with stunning views across the river. Shop has a large variety of gifts, beach items and hot/cold drinks, snacks with the staff being super friendly, funny, despite the extremely busy time when we visited. A lovely day out all round.
Fantastic, small, dog friendly beach. Has a small shop there serving cold drinks, snacks and local trinkets. Toilets are available and seating. Car park is a little walk but can't recommend going here enough. There is a pontoon which you can swim out to which is great fun in the summer.
Lovely little beach and swimming spot in Fowey. I visited a couple of times while staying in Fowey. The beach can get busy, but it still feels quiet and secluded. Its about a 10-15 minute walk from Fowey town centre. You can walk up towards the the coastal path from the beach which is great too. There's a great cafe with ice cream, cold drinks, snacks, beach wear and some gifty bits. There's also a toilet and a tap to fill up water bottles or dog bowls. A beautiful spot, whatever the weather!
It was my first time to visit this place and it was lovely. We parked at Readymoney cove. There were few people swimming in the beach. While we decided to walked up to St. Catherines Castle and it was worth it, the view was spectacular. We had an ice cream when we came down and walked down to Fowey village. I had a lovely day spent with my new friends 😎
