Great times here with my 3 year old. Plenty of routes for young ones so that both children and adults can enjoy. Best facilities I've seen yet.

Very big climbing gym, more than you ever need. We come maybe once a month or every 2 months since we rotate between this and hangar and other places so its always refreshing. Prices are affordable and higher than others but considering its size and variety it is worth it.

Somewhat mediocre despite having the largest wall space in Sheffield. Changes over the last couple years only seem to diminish the climbing experience. All routes now graded, but only if you use griptonite, queried whether grade tags could be added for those who don't want to spend half their session on their phone but no response from the team. Setting has got stale the last 18 months, seem to get trigger happy with one type of move and set it in everything. The move to zonal resets is one of the last nails in the coffin in terms of enjoyability. I'm sure if they wanted to be The Climbing Hangar they could have just asked. The only redeeming feature IMO is the extensive training area. Edit: Thanks for showing in your response that you still haven't really read and understood what I have said. All climbs being graded and all climbs sitting within a grade range are not one and the same thing. Disappointing to still see that only certain customers matter.

I am new to climbing, having only been a regular for a few months. I find Depot a friendly supportive community. Even at very busy times you can always find a climb on your chosen grade. More experienced and skilled climbers will offer encouragement and advice if you seek it. I bought my own shoes though, as the loan ones were really uncomfortable. That's just my choice and I am sure staff would have found me a better fit. My only other gripe would be how cold it's been some days this winter. Overall, it's a great place, a great workout and is beating boring gym trips in my exercise schedule.

I am a member here and a university student, climbing is one of my passions and this depot has it all, great food, study spaces, amazing staff and of course amazing bouldering projects. :)
