We Joined the foundry last autumn as my two teenage sons wanted to learn to climb. It's been fantastic. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. There's a good mix of top rope, lead, auto belays and bouldering and the routes are reset on a continuous rolling cycle so there's always something new to climb. We try to go twice per week and its always busy but there's always climbs free and the atmosphere is always happy, friendly and inspiring. I'm really glad that the foundry has maintained its club status and remained a friendly community rather than becoming an expensive, commercially driven center.

What a fantastic experience we had last week! Our instructors were fantastic, and gave us the confidence to climb high and go for challenging routes. All our members, plus lads from Penistone, Sheffield and Huddersfield table thoroughly enjoyed it. Topped off by an excellent partnership with a discount just for us at Neepsend Social Club & Canteen just up the road. 👌 Mike and Karl made booking the event a breeze. We turned up, everything was straight forward as described and we were climbing before we knew it. If you're looking to book a climbing group in Sheffield, look no further than The Foundry! 10/10

Went to rent Pads for a weekend of outdoor bouldering. Staff super friendly and the whole process took a minute . Highly recommend to anyone needing to get pads . Can back a few days ago to try the new walls , and they are great !!

Popped by as my daughter really enjoys climbing and wanted to try this place out. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the bouldering Arras had lots of different options and wasn't too over crowded at all. The cafe was excellent really exceeded expectations, one minor issue is that the tables need to be cleaned more thoroughly.
