Great place for a family day out. My wife and I visited mainly because my wife got me a monster excavator experience, that was great fun :) Tried a couple of the other rides as well, highly recommend :)

We visted Diggerland today and had a great time. The layout made it very easy for our 3 year old to explore and there were enough activities to keep him entertained for hours. All the staff were attentive, friendly and actually looked like they enjoyed being there. We had lunch in the cafe which was very nice, not the usual overpriced rubbish you get at most attraction cafes! The gift shop was also very reasonably priced. Overall had a great day without breaking the bank!

Fantastic day out for both children and adults. Great fun on the mini diggers and the JCB. You need a strong stomach for Spindizzy! Great indoor soft play area for the younger ones that weren’t too sure about the diggers. Only down side was you needed cash for the ice cream stand and some of the smaller rides needed coins to operate them and we didn’t think to take any cash. It didn’t spoil our day at all though.

3 adults and 6 pre teen kids. We had a great day. Went on nearly all the rides with little or no waiting. Terrific fun for kids of all ages. Only down side is as a pensioner I got a discount entry, but the 4 year old paid full price. Booking in advance saved us all a good deal but full price for a 4 year old seems extreme.

We went Saturday 21st for our 5 year olds birthday. He had an amazing time. Loved so many of the rides. Personally, I enjoyed the hook a duck. There were only 2 rides he couldn't go on for his age but overall I'd say 5-11 year olds is the target. However my son is very tall for his age, smaller 5 year olds may struggle. As others have said, I wasn't impressed with all the coin operated options right as you enter the park. He immediately ran to them and you don't like to have to almost drag them towards the rides you've just paid to see. Another sour note for me was the cash only ice cream parlour. I'm a great lover of ice cream so initially I was disappointed to only see 3 flavours but when I went to try and buy something I found the cash only part. I was very surprised by this, even ice cream vans have tap and pay machines. I was advised I could get cash back at the cafe if I had my card. However I, like many I feel, only have my phone. Also, I'd object to having to buy something from the cafe, to obtain cash back, to come back to the ice cream parlour. I feel this needs immediately addressing as it's prohibitive and easily solvable. So for the coin machines and the lack of card paying facilities I knocked a star off. However please don't let that put you off. We did have a fabulous time. I don't know how the queues would be in higher season but we barely waited for anything. And a note to the wise, that spindizzy ride is not for the faint hearted. It took me over an hour to recover from that Oh and I did see a soft play building but couldn't see any information if it charged extra so we didn't go in.
