My favourite beach probably due to me growing up nearby but the sandbar isn't that big and is covered by the tide about 30% of the time so plan you're visit with the tides in mind. The castle and cliffs are great places to be when the tide is up but parking can be a bit of a walk when it's busy. Not the best beach in the area if you just want to sit on the sand.

This is a great place to visit, with parking right next to the sea and if you have a camper you can stay overnight and buy your ticket in the morning, out of season was £5 not sure about in season, there are also toilets there which open in the morning, and are kept clean. The beach is very pebbly but great for exploring and looking for fossils, the sun sets here are amazing and it's a great place to spend the whole day for the whole family.

Had a lovely walk around Dunraven Bay today. Parked at Southerndown car park and walked past Nant y Durfol stream, through gardens to cliff top path and down to the river Nant Cwm-Mawr and the small bridge at the base of the valley. Then back through Dunraven walled gardens and then the beach. Beautiful scenery and a gorgeous day for it.

Stunning beach, very clean and free parking. Seems to be a big hit with surfers. Nice little walk upto duntaven castle/gardens. Definitely worth a visit.

Found this on google when looking for a stopover in our sprinter camper van and wasn’t disappointed, followed the sat nav and drove down the road to the bottom car park, right on the beach. Toilet facilities til 8 pm from 8am £5 to park all day, we stayed overnight overlooking the bay. Fabulous coastal walk, castle ruins, cym back ladder and walled gardens. Brilliant find and definitely worth a visit
