After we moved to Brackla we wanted to find a local beach and Ogmore By Sea is the most beautiful one we have found. It's only 20 mins by road from us and if walking your dog or just walking in a beach then you should visit. The views are outstanding and the beach is usually busy but not packed as it is filled with like minded people. There are a couple of local places to get a coffee or brunch just up from the beach. When the sun is out the beach is buzzing The whole area makes it more of the right move when we came here from London to start the next chapter of our lives. Visit, you won't be disappointed 💖

Just a great beach with all sorts of rocks and pools to mess about on and around. We went on Christmas Eve on a mudlarking hope of possibly finding a victorian shoe washed ashore (it was in the national news). No such luck. But a brilliantly cold, sunshine day that created other memories. Loved it!

This is a place I visited often when I was younger and I was so pleased to see it is still relatively unspoilt. There are great coastal walks in both directions and also along the estuary through the dunes. Please be aware of the strong undertow in the river and only cross when the tide is well out. Appears to be good for surfing and sea fishing. There is horse riding available and it's great to watch the horses gallop along the beach and gambol in the surf.

Beautiful beach with an interesting rock formation! I went with the dogs and was able to park in the car park nearby which was easily accessible and not far at all from the beach. Lovely area lots of space on the beach. I did go on a Monday morning so it was very quiet which for someone with anxiety was great 🤣. The dogs loved it and it was nice to see the area. Did see some people on horses in the distance on the beach which was lovely to see but just as a warning in case you take your dogs 🥰🐕. Overall lovely beach and nice and quiet!
