The Essex coastline many outstanding areas of beauty. However, Frinton is one of my favourite places to visit. The expansive sandy beaches extend up to Walton at one end and Holland by sea at the other. The area has many public toilets and you are a short walk from cafes and shops.

great destination for a walk from Clacton, the beach is nice and the little town has a better vibe IMHO; around four hours for a leisurely return walk along the sea

One of the best beaches and town in England! I just loved the place, will come back again. It’s very easy to be there too from London, just 1.5 hrs by train from Stratford or Liverpool station

I rate this beach 5 star due to how clean it was compared to others. Nice quiet beach for the family to enjoy. Sandy beach and the kids loved it! Best thing is free parking very close walking distance to the beach so great to take the grand parents or elderly. Would definitely recommend. Oh go early as the tide comes in by 3.30pm in August so the water comes all the way in so you will have to move up to the grass verges above!

We got to the beach and found the water on the beach front, whilst waiting for the water to go down we had lunch on the open fields. Couldn't find many fish and chips shop or ice cream places. Parking was easy and free. It was nice and empty with lovely sandy beach. The water was nice and clear. We had a great time. People where really nice, my wife took a fall on the road and so many people came to help
