Went to Staveley as Neufields pool was closed and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The gym has far more equipment and much more up to date. At the Neufield if some piece of equipment broke it could be weeks before it was mended. To top it all it would be a lot cheaper at Stavely as we are pensioners which makes no difference at Neufield. It is much better value at Stavely and will be be cancelling my membership at the Neufield.

My other half with severe tourettes signed up to it not knowing it was a contract, she went once and never liked the atmosphere and now she can't cancel and is stuck paying for a service she can't use and they are sending threatening emails and letters , even though it was something that was used once for less then 45 minutes! Are they that desperate for money?

I'm a tri-athlete who also dabbles in climbing. This place has it all with a spa thrown in for good measure, very happy with it as a local training venue. Staff seem friendly too. I think they've done well with the space available and membership prices seem reasonable.

Decent enough place for a good price - I'm content coming here & with my membership. Drops a star as Id prefer longer opening times (weekends), a cleaner Sauna area and for some of the weight machine attachments to be renewed instead of just thrown away when they get tatty. Also the place can be a bit grubby at times. Id happily pay a bit more of these things were addressed.

Gym isn’t the best has the basics you need to have a decent work out.The spa is covered in mold and never cleaned properly. The workers suspended me and target young people to get them out the gym. The reason I was suspended was lies and when i went to talk to them about it i was told money shouldn’t have been taken out and apparently no cctv to check if what they accused me of was true. Money was never refunded and i’ve heard nothing else from it so i’ve left it be and gone to a better gym.
