Worth visiting before you go anywhere else. It will enhance all other venues. A good grounding on the history of the island and the film & timeline puts things into perspective. A serious 'must visit' experience.

Free entry, lovely staff and good exhibition. The video upon entry is well worth watching, provides a thorough introduction to the history of Jersey.

Free entry. I was short of time so just managed to watch the free movie but it was time well spent. It gave me full history of the island. There's a restaurant inside and also gift/souvenir shop

Went in here to pass time. And that's exactly what we did, a good 2 hours later... Recommend watching the short film at the start. Very informative. The museum and the house are fantastic, never felt laden down with information, like other museums. Some of the exhibits are totally amazing. Only took a snapshot of pics to allow you to find the other exhibits! Cafe was also really busy. This is a free museum, well worth putting some paper notes in the donation box.
