We had never been before and were pleasantly surprised with pool. Big enough with out been to big, plenty of people without been too busy and deep enough to dive. Clean and tidy would definitely recommend if your close too it.

Nice leisure centre.. lots of classes .. Met some lovely people here. Staff helpful and friendly.

Booked my 3 year old in for lessons and was told that the class she would be in the teacher would be in the water as well but no parents. We decided to book her in as the adult and child was full. So as this would be her first time in a swimming pool we decided we would take her ourselves prior to lessons starting. She was very nervous and we knew she was not going to go in without us. We mentioned this when we booked and we were told that that was fine we could move her to an adult and child class if we felt that she was not ready. I emailed to ask for the cancellation and to change to a wait list for the adult and child. I got an email stating the cancellation had been processed but I still had to pay for a month of lessons that would not be used. I called and explained what had happened and advised that at the time of booking I was not told of a cancellation fee or that they needed a month's notice. I asked about the wait list and was told she could not go to the adult and child as that was for children 2-3 years and as my child is 3 year 8 months she would not be allowed. Their alternative was to take her to the lessons that I knew she would would not get into the water for as I would not be with her. I explained that I was not told about the age either at booking. They acknowledged that it was all an error on their side for not advising me of it al, however I am still out of pocket for something that I would not have booked had I been told everything. Not great customer service. Will now be looking elsewhere for swimming classes.

I have been a member now for nearly a year. I swim three times a week and I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Staff are so polite and professional at all times. Changing rooms and shower block are always clean and plenty of room, even when busy. The swimming pool is fantastic, in my view simply the best in the area, highly recommended. Kidsgrove gym is back!! Bigger and better than I imagined. I cannot praise it highly enough. Full selection of equipment on a spacious clean environment and even Peloton bikes included in your membership. The staff were always great and that hasn't changed, they're helpful, knowledgeable and easy to talk too. Highly recommend, and I'm so very happy it's back
