Kynance Cove is one of Cornwall’s most beautiful and popular places to visit, located just a few miles from Lizard Point. The scenery is stunning, with dramatic coastline, a lovely beach, impressive waves, and the refreshing sea breeze. The sound of the sea makes it a particularly peaceful place to spend time, whatever the season. There is a restaurant nearby, plenty of parking, and it’s worth carrying some coins as mobile signal can be unreliable, although JustPark is also available. The lack of a lifeguard is a downside, especially when the sea is rough. Overall, Kynance Cove is a must-visit destination in Cornwall and easily one of my favourite places to visit.

My favourite place in Cornwall. Soft dandy beach, sea caves, rock pools and came with great food to end the visit. What else one could want from a day out. This is a must stop for everyone and don't be put of by the wait to enter the car park. It's worth it.

It looks like somewhere in heaven, stunning cove, can get a bit crowded on peak season but not so overwhelmingly, if you get there early enough you can find yourself a good spot to settle in for the whole day. There are 2 different paths to reach the beach taking between 15-30 minutes but easy enough, no need any climbing, there were stairs in the steepest areas so it's safe for kids. Car park can get full sometimes if you arrive afternoon, and you have to wait in the long queue as they do "one car out - one car in" procedure. We have been there 2 weeks ago, it's great in low tide + if you are lucky to catch a good weather. Weather was around 20°C mostly sunny when we were there and it was enough to see the sea clear and calm. Lots of puddles appear in low tide for kids to enjoy. We loved it, it's the best beach you can go in the area, we didn't go anywhere else, one day tried to go to Hayle Beach but unfortunately it was windy and wavy as being a large open seafront, we had to go back to Kynance Cove. If we happen to visit Cornwall again, we definitely will come back to this stunning beach! ❤️🏖️

Exceptional beach at LOW TIDE. Brill for kids. Park in National trust carpark and steps down hill to the beach. A little bit steep and slippery sandstone. There is a ath you can use also. Toilets in national trust carpark.

Kynance Cove is one of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever visited. The crystal-clear turquoise water, dramatic rock formations, and stunning coastal views make it feel like a hidden paradise. The walk down is well worth it, and at low tide you can explore the caves, rock pools, and sandy beach. The surrounding coastal trails offer incredible panoramic views and are perfect for a scenic hike. Parking is available nearby, but it fills up quickly during peak times, so arriving early is recommended. If you’re visiting Cornwall, Kynance Cove is an absolute must-see. We would happily return again and again.
