Very nice and clean pool

Went for lane swimming on Fri 24th July. The reception staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The changing facilities were dated but workable. The lanes were initially buy but in time thinned out, but 20 minutes before the advertised lane time the lanes were removed. Five minutes later the lifeguards started throwing in balls and floating mats. I still have 15 minutes of lane swimming to go. I assumed that the next session would be for families as it's a holiday resort. When I got back to my accommodation I checked the timetable. After lane swimming the centre was closed, so why were they throwing in these items into the pool? Hence the two star rating, undid the good work of the reception staff.

Great for swimming lessons. Over a year later still great for swimming lessons Updated: don't let the guy who may or may not have hair and may or may not have a south African Accent?? Spoil this place. He may be a manager? I'm sure he doesn't own the place (correct me if I'm wrong) but the way he talks to paying customers and staff.... well... not good. Rude. Yes enforce rules but there are ways. And some rules he should enforce he doesn't. I notice the staff are never very happy when he is there either. Coincidence? I think not. Swimming teachers, helpers and lifeguards all do a great job. Keep it up you guys are great. But I'm going to have to take 2 stars off for the member of staff above. 2026 update Every week we come here and almost every week the tables are dirty and this week some hairs on there and some random goop. I have to clean it every time. Surely it wouldn't take long for someone to give them a quick wipe over and vac the floor? There are only 4 tables. I'll do it but I'll want paying... £25 p/w products supplied let me know.....

Great staff, changing rooms good, unfortunately the pool itself needs a good clean! Hair, hairbands, plasters on the bottom of the pool! Not nice 😞

My son has recently started swimming lessons here and he absolutely loves it. The staff are friendly, patient, and professional. In just 4 lessons his confidence and trust of the water has increased so much. The building is tidy and well maintained, and there is ample parking all around the town if the on site parking is busy.
