I had only been in once before, and only to sign up; this was my first full visit. It was really great. The staff was really helpful and friendly; one staff member, normally based in Portobello, showed me around and was very informative. The facilities seemed much better than I might have imagined, only because I based my assumptions on it being an old building. It was much bigger inside than I expected. The standard is very good; the equipment seems new and plentiful; the pool is lovely, well manned and well signed, and there's a small cafe. I fully intended to start coming regularly, but if that was in any doubt, it's now been cast aside, and I will be back as soon as possible.

Scott Quinn is a brilliant teacher. He taught my sun for the crash course this week and my son is so much more confident. Definitely joining for the after summer sessions if possible with the commute. Fingers crossed

£10 each to get in for non members for the pool which isn’t too bad. However, the pool was very busy meaning there were too many people in the lanes to enjoy it. The steam room and sauna are tiny and not that hot at all, don’t really see why they bother have either when they clearly don’t have the space
