We went to watch the Rock Choir who were performing on an incredibly hot day. We only managed a short walk due to the extreme heat but are keen to return again later in the year. We took refuge in the cafe with a lovely Pimms & the most amazing slice of raspberry cake! We will be back!

Lovely gardens and the trails are quite long , some are not really suitable for people with physical limitations. It's an amazing place with lots of beautiful plants and trees, my favourite were the Dogwoods. The lakes are small but very peaceful. The cafe was great, with a good menu and very nice staff. Highly recommended.

Visited here for the first time recently and absolutely loved it! It's such a great place to escape and enjoy everything nature has to offer. There's so much to see here: wildlife, statues, unique plants, historic buildings, lakes, and so much more. It's an absolute treasure for photographers, with so many beautiful views. The grounds are massive, so you definitely won't get bored (and there's a café too, which serves amazing food!). We spent several hours exploring and could easily have stayed longer. Incredible place I'd highly recommend!

A gem of discovery on a day visit, so brilliantly good we took out a year's membership. Lakeside, forest and vineyard walks, fabulous views, interesting collection of wallabies and sculptures abound throughout. Beautiful cafe, with gift and garden shops on the way out. Cannot recommend enough as so many interesting things around every corner, lots yet to be discovered. 5*+

Beautiful, tranquil, hilly, dog friendly gardens. Many paths to explore, small lakes, cafe/coffee shop, well stocked gift shop, perfect. Rhodendrons, azaleas, bluebells, sequoia trees, sculptures, fabulous kids play area, wallabies and all full of stunning colours and scents in spring. Autumn is equally as beautiful. Transport available for those less mobile but check before travelling as its run by volunteers. Point to note - pay for parking in reception, you’ll need your vehicle reg. no as required for ticket, currently £4.90, the app tried charging us £13.90 for 2 hrs! A beautifully restored garden definitely worth a visit in April and May.
