The gym has the potential of being really good, on the whole the site staff do as best they can but senior management are incompetent and have an in ability to deal with the issues of broken equipment, considering the price you pay for membership it's pretty poor. Equipment is constantly braking and they can't even repair lights and the air con. Someone equipment is out of action for several months. For whatever reason Wave Leisure slso only allow full membership so you can't just have gym membership like other gyms. Over the years l have notice a decline in the numbers in the gym and it's clear to see why. There is a lot better out there with a lot better equipment. If you were considering becoming a member to only use the gym, then l would say go else where, where you will get better value for money.

The worst manager I have ever seen in a customer based establishment. Constantly hearing him being rude to other customers and today I experienced it myself. Even the staff I talk to complain about him. Been coming here for 10 years and now I will cancel my membership.

I simply wanted to use the sauna. It wasn't in operation that day, but they said it would be available tomorrow. They said the sauna was available on weekdays. When I went today, they said the sauna was broken. (Conveniently, it seems it broke down.) Also, there was a "pay as you go" ticket on the website, but she said it wasn't available. What a sloppy operation.

Great leisure centre. Yes its a bit tired in places but the staff are great. The reception team couldn't be more helpful and swimming teachers are amazing. Clean pools and changing areas. Why over the odds for private swimming lessons for your children when they will be taught better at your local pool? We travel there from Hove. Lots of parking. Highly recommended.
