I had an absolutely incredible experience today led by Cerys, who is wonderfully knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the birds in her care. I cannot recommend going here enough, it was an absolute joy to see the birds free flying and to have the opportunity to take part. Its the middle of a heat wave so understandably the welfare of the birds has to come first and that is great to see as well, so some of the birds used were adjusted so that they could deal with the heat. Just an all round wonderful time!

What a fantastic experience! Our guide Dan clearly loves all the birds and ensures you have a super experience whilst also making sure the birds are definitely in charge and do as much or as little as they wish. Thoroughly enjoyed every second and came away more knowledgeable with great photos and lovely memories. Highly recommend this experience.

Fabulous morning taking photos of 5 different birds including 2 owlets. Cerys and Dan did a great job of explaining the whole Falconry process. Booking was easy, great value and highly recommended.

An amazing experience from start to finish. Knowledgable falconers who gave interesting insights into every aspect of the birds being flown on the day. Spent time with a couple of young burrowing owls which was fantastic and flew a number of the raptors that they have. Please give these a visit you won’t be disappointed. Phenomenal couple of hours. I was given for my birthday, a gift experience to do a photoshoot with Birds of Prey. The event was held by Mercer Falconry at Wheelgate Park. Dan met us at the main entrance and escorted us to the arena and went through safety instructions on what to expect from the session and do's and don'ts when around these amazing animals. Dan has a passion for the birds and let us take close up images, flight shots and we stayed inside the arena during a display show so get some more action shots. The whole session was brilliant and the birds closed up were spectacular. If you visit the park with the family, go see the event and if you get chance to do the photo experience, make it a memorable time with these amazing creatures.
