Absolutely fantastic and unforgettable experience for our anniversary. We started the morning with an introduction to the girls, before moving on to feed the boys. This was a great opportunity to get more familiar with the alpacas and ask plenty of questions about them. After harnessing them up, we went for our walk around the yard and fields. The setting was lovely and peaceful. It was great to watch the alpacas interact with eachother and just be curious. After we put the boys back into the barn, we then moved onto needle felting which was so much fun and super relaxing - especially with a cup of tea and cake. We had a good hour just felting, chatting and drinking tea. Also a great opportunity to pet the adorable dogs. The whole morning was just a treat. Deanna and Henry made us feel so welcome and relaxed throughout. We would 100% come back again in the future to see how the alpacas are doing and have another go at felting. Thanks to Deanna and Henry for such a great experience (not to mention the recommendation of where we should go for a walk in the afternoon - we had a lovely time at High Peak Junction just a few minutes down the road).

We had a brilliant family alpaca experience. They're all such individual characters! We started by meeting them and having a bit of alpaca chat and then took an alpaca each for a walk around the fields which was a really nice experience to get to know the alpacas better and go for a pleasant walk in a beautiful corner of Derbyshire. The alpacas were really good with our kids (13 & 11). After that we met a few more alpacas and then needle felted little alpaca decorations. None of us had needle felted before but really enjoyed it and came out with some surprisingly good decorations! It was also lovely meeting Deanna and nattering away about all-sorts as we walked and felted. All in all a lovely family experience, highly recommended!

Brilliant private walking tour with gorgeous Alpacas! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and they stayed with us throughout the walking experience and the needle felting activity. We were introduced to the Alpaca boys, fed them and chose which ones we’d like to walk with. We walked/strolled (the Alpacas don’t like to go fast, but are very friendly) around the surrounding fields for 1.5hrs, stopping for photos and asking questions along the way. After we unharnessed the Alpacas, led them into a field and fed them again, we sat down for refreshments and to make our own needle felt alpaca using wool from the Alpacas we walked. I would absolutely go back again! The whole experience was lovely, chill and informative!

100% recommend visiting here! This trip was booked for myself and my mam as a birthday present and from start to finish the whole experience was amazing! Deanna is so warm and friendly, they provide private tours only so it was just the two of us which makes the experience even better. Deanna explained all about the alpacas, talked about their different personalities and made you feel like you were able to really get to know them. Then we were allowed to walk them which lasted for over an hour before we were provided with a drink. Deanna also offers you the opportunity to create a little felted alpaca after the walk which was a great way to round off the visit. Cannot stress enough how amazing it is here and such great value for money. Definitely the most personal experience you will get.

My husband bought me a birthday surprise Alpaca Walk at Lindway Springs Alpacas on Saturday 12 September. We had a great time meeting the alpacas and walking around the gorgeous farmland with Deanna and Henry, the owners, who guided us. After the walk we had tea and birthday cake in the Studio and Deanna taught us how to make wool felting alpaca souvenirs. It was brilliant. Both Deanna and Henry are amazing hosts and it was truly a memorable afternoon.
