We've been regular visitors to Midland Karting for around 18 months, starting with Race School and progressing through family sessions and championship racing. The reason we keep coming back week after week is simple – we absolutely love it. From day one, we've always felt welcomed by both the staff and the other racing families. The atmosphere is fantastic, and everyone makes you feel like part of something special. I'd particularly like to thank all the staff at Midland Karting for the positive impact they've had on my son. They've done so much more than teach him how to drive a kart. They've helped him develop resilience, perseverance, and the understanding that hard work and dedication pay off. When he first started, he was a very quiet and shy boy with no karting experience. Today, he's a confident, happy, and committed championship winner with a genuine passion for motorsport. Watching that transformation has been incredible, and Midland Karting has played a huge part in it. The staff are always professional, friendly, and approachable, and they genuinely make you feel like part of the Midland Karting family. Championship days are especially brilliant, with a supportive atmosphere where racing families encourage and celebrate each other's drivers. As an added bonus, the café is excellent too—the food is fantastic, and I'd highly recommend the salt and pepper chips! I would highly recommend Midland Karting to anyone interested in karting, whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced racer. What a fantastic place to get your kids on track. My 11 year old had a brilliant session. The staff are very friendly and informative and cover all safety aspects in the briefing and once on track too. My 11 year old came off buzzing and keen and eager to get back. The cafe on site is great for refreshments. Easy to get to and find and the sessions are priced very fairly. They also do other sessions that children could go to and also a school session that runs if your child want to be a bit more competitive

We visited Midlands Karting in Fradley today for one of their new bambino sessions and I honestly couldn’t be more impressed. My 5-year-old has wanted to try karting for such a long time but was always too young, so when we saw they now had brand new karts for children aged 4–6, we booked straight away. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The whole team made us feel at ease, and the organisation was fantastic. Tommy’s instructor, Stu, was absolutely brilliant. He was kind, calm and really informative, and somehow managed to keep a VERY excited 5-year-old focused and listening! He took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure Tommy understood exactly what to do and, most importantly, that he was safe and confident before getting started. It was worth every penny. Seeing how much Tommy loved it and how proud he was afterwards made the whole experience so special. As a parent, it was so reassuring knowing he was in safe hands and being looked after properly. We highly recommend the bambino session to anyone with young children who are interested in karting. We will definitely be back to book more sessions. I have been taking my 8 year old to midland karting for the last few months doing things like open races, standard session, race school 1 on 1 tuition with Dan, mechanic club and championship rounds. First thing I noticed is the family feel about the place staff are very friendly and helpful and all have a passion for what they do it seems more than a job them they have made me and my son feel very welcome even the other regulars customers are very friendly and welcoming too. The 1 on 1 with Dan is well worth the money he was brilliant with my boy and taught him more in 1 hour than anyone has before him can’t recommend Dan enough. The karting aside the mechanic club is very educational Stu and Dave were very good explaining how the kart was checked and the drivetrain was check and explained how it all worked even I learnt something just watching. Claire is the first person we see when we get the track most of the time and she is always happy to see us and is very knowledgeable about everything Karting and always happy to help. Thank you everyone at midland karting for making me and Lewis feel part of the family. Customer for life

As a reasonably experience karter I had a brilliant time, the circuit was far better than expected and I very much so enjoyed it! I’ve been to a lot of places but the layout here was honestly really good and I highly recommend to everyone. It was slightly annoying as I couldn’t get a full lap in due to everybody spinning however that was to be expected with the weather conditions! I would absolutely rate my experience 5 stars if it wasn’t for the couple of issues that I had. First of all, my kart was broken. I believe there was a fuelling issue or some sort of Idle control problem as my engine would keep cutting out when at a standstill. This meant that several times in the pit lane and whenever I would have to slow down on track, my kart would completely cut out. I am usually willing to look past these things and just put up with it but considering the amount of yellow flags, it made it awfully hard to keep the engine alive! My second gripe is that we paid for the longer session but I was taken off after just 30 minutes. This was a gift I got for Christmas and we had travelled a couple of hours to be there on the day, being taken off 15 minutes early is a big chunk of time that was wasted! The experience overall was great, the track is brilliant and despite the kart not working properly I still had an awesome time. I am however not overall impressed with being taken off early, that’s both time and money that has been wasted.
