Great location, cross 2 wooden bridges and arrive and the main Castle, great views and historic information and plans of the castle, very good condition and all fully accessible, there is a car park with a very short flat walk to the actual castle and the views are great.

Lovely medieval castle ruins, free to have a look around. Reasonable amount there, nicely maintained, incredible views, lots of information signs and places to sit. Seems to be a walk that continues below the castle, but we didn't have time as we'd only nipped to have a look on the spur of the moment. Small free car park, which is locked at 6pm. We will stop off again with a picnic in the future!

Fantastic! Veiws were phenomenal, and although the castle is a ruin, theres enough of it left that you get a feel for how impressive it would of been. Looking from the castle i was really struck by just what a defensible position it was there on the hill, with steep drops on 3 sides, you can see the whole surounding vally for miles. Free parking close by. Free entry.
