Despite having scorched all summer, the gardens were still lovely to walk through. There was an event going on at the same time but the grounds were large enough to accommodate that and regular visitors comfortably. Food and drink was reasonably priced and we ate outside in very pleasant surroundings.

Near Boughton. It's a lovely place to visit with a nice cafe. £10 entrance to walk round garden in an Italian style with some Oriental influence. Well kept. Their summer maze planted with tall insect and bee friendly plants. Some structured gardens and wall. Looking Georgian / Victorian influences by the house. Lovely Orchards with glamping pods and some rooms. Popular for weddings also. Plenty of parking.

In my line of work working for historic companies I've stayed in many beautiful manor houses and stately homes with beautiful gardens but I have to say that mount ephraim's gardens left me absolutely speechless I actually turned to my companion and said I wonder if capability brown would have loved discarded as much as I do we walked around the gardens Fred lease 2 hours everywhere you look there was something more beautiful the flowers were stunning and the trees at this location my goodness you've never seen such beautiful mature adult trees in your life so beautiful the accommodation was lovely and it wasn't overpriced the staff were amazing friendly helpful knowledgeable I can honestly say I've stayed in some stately home for the staff were really not nice but I don't have a single complaint about the mount Ephraim staff at all if you love your gardens and you want to stay somewhere overnight or book a wedding this is the place you should go a beautiful stunning place an absolute 5 stars and if I could I would add it to 10 because this place was amazing

Had afternoon tea and visited the gardens. The gardens - especially the topiary and maze were lovely. Lots of bees and butterflies. The cream tea was great - especially since different dietary requirements needed to be met. The service was excellent

Really beautiful lots to explore and very friendly people. We use a wheelchair so found majority of it difficult to access - we knew this before coming and we made it work for us but I know others may struggle to get round. We didn't visit the tea rooms on this occasion as we had a pub reservation for lunch. But a well thought-out, sensitive to nature gardens definitely worth a visit for those of able body ;)
