A truly memorable visit. Although not a large museum, it holds an extraordinary collection of classical sculptures spanning many centuries, offering a fascinating glimpse into the ancient world. The collection is thoughtfully displayed and feels both intimate and inspiring. What made our visit especially meaningful was a temporary exhibition we happened to see during our visit. Through paintings and personal reflections, it explored themes of pregnancy, creation, love, loss and memory. As a parent, I found it deeply moving. It reminded me that museums are not only places where we preserve the past, but also spaces where we reflect on some of the most profound human experiences. I visited with my children, and we all found something different to appreciate. The combination of ancient art and contemporary storytelling created a unique and thought-provoking experience. A hidden gem in Cambridge, and a place I would happily return to. Highly recommended.

Saw Caroline’s wonderful video on Antinous on youtube and came here to see him. The bust of him as Dionysos looked better than the regular one stored in the British Museum. The exhibition room made good use of natural light, which was good. The place was moderate in size but very nice.

An utterly wonderful experience being so up close and personal with so many great works. The fact they are casts in no way detracts from their staggering beauty. The signage around the museum is wonderful and thought provoking, and much joy was had by the small humans in the interactive children's section.

A priceless resource for the classics student and great little past time. It costs nothing to go in and walk around. The volunteers are kind and informative. The pieces are replicas of some of the worlds most renowned examples of Classical Greek and Roman sculpture that you'd have to travel the world to see all the originals but here they are all in one place and retain their colossal size and grandeur!

Free Admission, due to Covid you might need to pre-book the entry. Quite and well lit exhibition gallery. Sculptures are incredible from upclose and they do have cards next to them with some information
