Brilliant small zoo! Friendly and helpful staff, and a great range of animals kept in exceptional habitats, with a big focus on conservation and animal welfare.

Had a pleasant afternoon at this small zoo and also enjoyed a look round Kirkley Hall's walled garden. A small but interesting collection of animals, birds, reptiles and aquatics in the zoo and many different plants, shrubs and herbs in the garden. Pleasant and knowledgeable staff were available to answer any questions and/or give directions.

We came for the open event and my daughter cannot wait to enrol, lots of animals to see and the campus is amazing. The animals all seem very happy too here which is brilliant

We visited the zoo yesterday and spent a couple of lovely hours looking around, we went as a group of 4 with one member of our party as a wheelchair user. The site was very accessible for a wheelchair user and we had no problem seeing all of the animals. Not a huge zoo but I think that adds to its charm, lovely way to spend a couple of hours in the sunshine.

Fantastic day out with the kids, staff are extremely welcoming & friendly, animals all looked after properly, we all thoroughly enjoyed the day. Top notch.
