A wonderful visit to the Oceanarium in Bournemouth. I would like to highlight the excellent work of the aquarist, who shows great professionalism, dedication, and genuine care for the animals. It is inspiring to see the knowledge and attention involved in looking after the different species. Their passion for the work is clear and helps make the visitors’ experience even more special. Congratulations on the commitment and on the important role you play in raising awareness about and protecting marine life. An outstanding professional who deserves recognition.

A really lovely aquarium. The penguin enclosure is great, they've got a deep pool and fresh air and daylight. The penguins seemed to enjoy watching visitors too. The view from above the big tank was interesting, seeing the turtle swimming around. I also liked that the otters had their own balcony looking over the beach. It was an informative and enjoyable visit and the staff were friendly, we watched them feeding the penguins and rays. I liked the facts about the penguins, including which ones were partners. Recommend buying tickets online a day or more before you go as it's cheaper that way.

Went to the Oceanarium for the afternoon and throughly enjoying is. Aquatic life was vast. Loved every minute. Lots to see and the feeding talks were great. Loved the fact you can come and go all day on the same ticket. As I needed to keep popping into the cafe for drinks to take medication. The sea turtle (I've forgotten her name) was amazing!

The Oceanarium is a charming, educational, and beautifully curated coastal attraction. It balances classic marine life displays with interactive touchpoints flawlessly, making it a fantastic addition to any Bournemouth itinerary. Summer weekends it can be extremely crowded. And inside some places are very warm and wet, so make sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

The Bournemouth Oceanarium is absolutely lovely and well deserving of 5 stars. It’s a fantastic place for children, with so many engaging, colourful exhibits that really spark curiosity and excitement. At the same time, it’s just as enjoyable for adults, whether you’re taking your time admiring the sea life or, of course, being a slightly spoilt girlfriend in the gift shop! I loved visiting with my family; it felt relaxed, welcoming, and thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to enjoy every section without feeling rushed. The atmosphere is calm yet exciting, and you can tell a lot of care has gone into creating an experience that’s both educational and fun. A wonderful day out for all ages, and somewhere I’d happily return to again.
