Great place if you like pigs and goats. Seemed brilliantly managed and the animals are clearly well cared for. Informative tour and just lovely seeing these rescued animals living their best life free to roam in the woods.

Went at Christmas time and there were lots of young children. Incredibly muddy, wear wellies! This may improve when they are able to add drainage to the site. Lovely to see animals free to roam and happy in their environment.

A lovely organisation giving sanctuary to rescued pigs, goats and chickens. Solely funded just by donations, volunteers and visitors. Would highly recommend a visit but remember your wellies.

The wettest muddiest trip to Pigs in the Wood today - it was absolutely wonderful. Becky, the volunteer who was leading our tour, was brilliant - so knowledgeable about pigs in general and told us lots of information about them and all the back stories to the residents. Her passion for piggies, veganism and the piggy project was clear to see. The pigs were friendly and very well cared for as were the small herd of goats and the chickens they have there. My favourite piggy was Violet - she was an absolute joy, came to say hello, happy to be stroked and loved a cuddle. 100% would recommend a tour here - the money from the tours goes towards the feeding of the piggies and is well worth it. Wellies are a must! 🐽🩷🐽

These piggies look well looked after by the volunteers. Cafe serving vegan cakes, hot choc, tea and coffee, and toilets on site. Built on a hill. In october it was muddy but walkable - wellies or walking boots recommended. Book a visit in advance. Reasonable price to visit too. On road side parking. Due to the nature of it beinv on a hill definitely not wheelchair accessible. There are boardwalks across most of the area which make it easy to navigate
