My partner and I stayed in Moongate 6 during recent July heatwave. It was absolutely lovely. It was a shaded location which kept accommodation cool during 30+ degree days. The gardens are beautiful to explore when we came back from exploring surrounding area and attractions. It was quiet even during open to the public hours and staff were friendly. Having the right accommodations can make or break a relaxing get away and Pinetum Gardens definitely made the stay amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We booked the 'Deluxe-Chalet with logburner' for 7 nights but left after 1 night. The 'Chalet' is in a nice, quiet and partly well maintained garden. However, the interior is very basic (except the bed and shower), was very smelly, the windows dirty, the blinds defect (we have been warned to use them and - if at all - very carefully) light bulbs missing and we were not sure whether we could sit on the couch without breaking it. Please be aware that this chalet is directly on the main garden access which means everybody can look into the building. On our claim on the same day we got an apology by Mr. Lee and by Ben, an explanation that it was the oldest building in the park and the offer to refund the payment we made in advance. Guess what - even after 14 days we did not see any money (more than PST 200/day).

Working local and over a period of 3 weeks we used 2 bed apartment, 1 bed apartment and one of the caravans. Very welcoming host, apartments/caravan spotless with great facilities and great bathrooms. Quality free WiFi to. The gardens are great to walk around, with the Japanese Garden especially so. highly recommended, all the accommodation.

Just stayed at Pinetum gardens for the weekend, the accomodation has everything that you need, very comfortable bed, reliable WiFi, amazing hot shower, and easy private access. Staff are very polite and readily available. Close enough to St Austell to get Deliveroo and Just Eat, we reccomed Dawat which did delicious Indian food, just meet the driver at the infomation point down the driveway. The gardens surrounding the accomodation are superb, absolutely beautiful, obviously planned meticulously and well maintained. There is so much space and light provided by the gardens, so little city/road noise, it's just a wonderful atmosphere. We highly recommend staying here for any trip in this direction, we visited the Lost Gardens of Heligan which was easily accessible from the station just a short walk from the Airbnb.
