Its a nice place to visit however, the entrance price I felt was a little on the steep side for wandering around the gardens, maybe if there was sort of audio guide or qr codes to tell you about the gardens or the paricular area you were visiting it might tempt me back. The shops are reasonably priced for an attraction and the food in the restaurants is very good quality although even with a substancial number of staff working service felt a little slow so be prepared for a wait even for coffee and cake, but the team all do deliver a very high standard of customer service and are very approachable

It is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature at its finest. The gardens are beautifully maintained, with stunning scenery, peaceful walks, and plenty of hidden treasures to discover along the way. A fantastic day out for families, with lots of space for children to explore and enjoy. The food was lovely too – some of the best chips 🍟 and ice cream 🍦 we’ve had! A truly magical place filled with positive energy, beautiful surroundings, and unforgettable memories. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommended for anyone looking to spend quality time with family and friends. 🌿✨💚

Dog friendly, kid friendly. Fantastic playground. Covered picnic areas. Beautiful gardens both wild and manicured. Very interesting day out. Hard to push a buggy around some of the gardens as steep and narrow pathways, signs advise in places no scooters etc.

Amazing garden, first visited this back in 1996 not long after it was restored. The highlight of the gardens that day was the incredible jungle walk down the steep ravine and the amazing rope bridge acriss it. The gardens are huge and you ideally need a whole day to see everything, but that also changes by the seasons. There are so many areas to visit, but beware that there is a lot of walking and a few paths are not at all suitable for wheel chair/scooters and will be a struggle for pushchairs (most of these paths are highlighted). There's an amazing children's adventure area and lots of places to sit and eat. There food is good and reasonably priced. The farm shop is incredible and it's so easy to spend a small fortune.

A genuinely incredible place, far exceeded my expectations! We visited with our two year old who loved exploring the jungle, playing in the play area (which is huge!), and seeing all the animals. The grounds are beautiful, and theres so many walks to explore
