An excellent experience with owls. The man who headed our experience was very knowledgeable about all aspects at the falconry. Was very easy to talk to and welcoming. The owls we saw (Dour of them) were chosen because ‘they were happy to fly’ meaning they came forward when he went to collect them. All four owls were in excellent condition and were happy to fly for their supper to our gantlets. But equally they were taken back in when they appeared to have had enough. Again the man’s experience with and obvious love of these birds was obvious.im just looking for excuses to go back soon.my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend it to anyone who likes or is interested in these beautiful birds. Just excellent all round

Absolutely loved our two visits, learned so many things about a variety of birds! Both of the falconers, Jo and Steve, were so patient and amazing and I would strongly recommend a visit! I applaud them for their massive contribution to the conservation and protection of these beautiful raptors, and a privilege to be allowed to be so close to them.

Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a fun activity or is interested in birds of prey! Brought as a birthday present for my partner and I went to be a spectator. He had an amazing time, even though his experience was just an hour they were very relaxed about the time. The staff were lovely and accommodating, Steve shared an abundance of knowledge about the birds that were being handled! Overall, we both had a lovely day and would definitely come back again!

My husband and I enjoyed the most wonderful experience on a two-hour Owl Encounter hosted by Jo, whose love and knowledge of these magical birds shone through.. we had lots of time with four different species of owl - and ended with close up cuddles with four 6-week barn owl babies! We both learned a lot of new info and had the best time! Highly recommended! We are already planning to return for a Hawk Walk.. thank you, Jo, Steve and your volunteers for such a special Sunday morning!

Amazing place, wonderful and knowledgeable people. Purchased a 3 hour morning for my grandmothers birthday. We ended up staying 4 hours, we were incredibly lucky to meet the baby barn owls after the half day experience. Would highly recommend, I throughly enjoyed just watching and being near the birds. Can’t recommend enough. Thank you for a wonderful day.
