I go for the lane swim every Wednesday and that in itself is fine. However I have now reported the same issues with the wet changing showers FOUR TIMES (including in person to the manager who said he would check straightaway) and more than 2 months later the same issues still exist. I believe a gym refurbishment is planned, but maybe you should address issues with your existing facilities first?!?

Filled out an enquiry form about swimming classes and received a call saying they’re currently unavailable, which is fine. However, as a first-time customer, I tried asking how the process works and the staff member cut me off and disconnected the call without explanation or a callback. Very unprofessional and a poor first impression.

This facility is very poor. I was a member at JD gym but cancelled it to go here. To expose myself to poor hygiene. It seems every time I go into the sauna and steam room I’m get to g poorly. The lack of cleanliness is a joke. It’s a disgrace to be honest and needs sorting out. The pool area is all sloppy they would rather just put a wet floor sign there than sort the wet floor out. Not to mention the disgusting toilets. You can smell them from outside the bathrooms…. Twice my son has gone swimming here and both times he’s ended up sick afterwards. Needs to employ staff who will actually clean the place.

Cancelled membership via bank as I was travelling and couldn’t get through to anyone went in twice to rejoin to then be told I owe £150 emailed in regards to this with proof I was travelling and didn’t attend gym. Was told I still need to pay or can’t be a member. Lost someone who genuinely wants to keep fit. I’m appalled.

This was my 1st visit, and it was a lovely experience; the parking was easy, plentiful, and free for 3 hours, (no ticket needed). The staff at Reception were friendly and helpful, and the changing rooms were clean and pleasant. The pool was smashing; easy entry via wide shallow steps, and at 2 on a Friday afternoon nice and quiet, (about 8 of us pottering up and down). 😀👍
