Visited as guests to the area on holiday looking to climb on a wet day. Good value centre with friendly staff. Had pretty much the entire centre to ourselves, which was surprising for a wet day (mid week day time). Good belaying refresh with one of the instructors which they were happy to schedule in at the last minute. The roped climbing grades felt alot stiffer than our local centre, but bouldering felt more standard with some really creative & enjoyable route setting. Easy sign up process online which we did before we visited.

Lovely although small climbing wall and bouldering area, staff on hand to provide tours and courses if needed. We took our own equipment but you can hire it if needed. We spent about 3 hours at the centre and it wasnt over crowded at all. Booked coasteering session on thursday. Can also do axe throwing and archery. Plenty of parking outside. Coffee, tea and snacks available on site

Me and my dad visited Rock and Rapid this week and it was brilliant. We had Ben and Ben as our bouldering instructors. They were both so fun, knowledgeable and professional. Thanks so much to them both for making it a great day!

A great time had by all. Age range was 11-67. We chose the climbing wall, the instruction was simple and relaxed, as was the whole session until it got to tackling the overhang pitch which got the pulses racing. You don't have to climb anything you don't want to and safety is paramount. A fantastic way to spend your time and money, whether team building, a hen/stag party or just family fun. Will definitely do it again, thanks 😊

Visited Rock and Rapid Bouldering wall today with our 5 and 3 year olds Very reasonably priced at £10 each (plus £2 shoe hire if you don’t have your own) for as long as you want. Great space for all ages, with about 20 other people in the same area it still didn’t feel busy and worked really well. Food and drinks on site though didn’t have any, as well as a full size climbing wall which again we didn’t use… this time. Mellow and welcoming staff. All in all a great days activity for complete novices like ourselves.
