Place was crammed, learned afterwards there had been a local concert on with a big name. Sea front is mostly clean and tidy bit of a whiff from all the food waste in the bins on a hot day. Worst part was trying to find any chip shop that catered to vegetarian. Plenty if options and places in land but this sea front had zero that we could find.

Lots going on to watch from a bench. Sandy beach just around the corner. Proper British seaside town with arcades, fish and chips, ice cream parlours and seaside shops for buckets and spades etc.

On a crisp but beautiful sunny day in early November it was such a gorgeous way to stroll and while away a morning. There was even a yacht race to watch too

We stopped on the visitor moorings for 2 nights. Its a fab marina. Decent enough facilities. Nice pontoons. All the staff were friendly. The berthing master Chris was fantastic. Looked after us and made us really welcome. We had an awesome stay here.
