Had a lovely 💜 birthday 🎂 Weekend in Bridlington from 15th to 18th of May- my birthday was on Sunday the 17th which is the day I chose to visit Scarborough (it was also the best day because the sun 🌞 shone most of the time I was there!!). Had a brilliant time, bought a phone case for ONLY a fiver, then had a ride on the big wheel with gr8 views overlooking Scarboroughs' South Bay. Rode back up the Cliff on the Old Victorian Tramway. Before I went to catch the bus back to Bridlington I went to Greggs for my FREE cake, which I saved for l8r, then went across to Costa Coffee to claim my FREE birthday cake which I ate in, washed down with a delicious Free iced spanish latte (also FREE! It was my birthday & if I can't enjoy freebies then, when can I??? A lovely 💜 Birthday 🎂 which I will remember for a long time. Probably ONE of the best I've had for a long time!!
Nice beach. Busier than the North one but it has more stuff and closer to Scarborough town centre. Bogs were free to use which is nice.
A great beach to come and enjoy with family and friends.
I don’t often go far along the South Bay past the Spa but I did today. It was late afternoon and I probably only saw about 10 people in a 20 minute walk along there and most of those were dog walkers. The air was clear, the sun was warm and the tide was in so there were some good crashing waves along the front. I walked along past the giant Star Map before making my way up through the gardens; will probably walk further along in my next visit.
A beautiful place for all walks of life. The beach to all the attractions. Scarborough is the perfect place for the family. We really did not want to leave. Very scenic. Loads of beautiful walks. North bay beach just as pretty.
