Lovely plac3 to visit whether fishing or a walk, nice pub on the front, shop just up the hill, though public toilets are not mantained they were stinking of stale wee on walking into them!

Nice pebble beach, less crowded. You can find some fossils and nice view spots. There is no paying machine for parking, but there was a nice lady who does that for you, and the receipt will give you £2 off at a nearby restaurant.

A bit of a hidden gem, close to the better-known beaches of Charmouth and Lyme, but without all the people. There's a beautiful pub (The Anchor) and a little shack doing hot drinks and bacon baps, but not much else besides. And after all, what else do you really need?

Three of us walked from our holiday cottage and along the coast to this beach. We had a lovely couple of hours at the beach here during our short autumn getaway. My husband and mother-in-law went off fossil hunting up the beach, while I and my father-in-law stayed at our camp to entertain the dogs. We didn't try out the local pub, but it looked busy which is always a good sign. I noticed quite a few people utilising the sauna by the car park and doing a cold plunge in the sea, which looked like fun!

This has to be my number one beach in the world, I've spent many days and nights here..especially nights and it throws up some great fish. It diversifies so much throughout the year even over night it can change so much. One day it can be entirely shingle and then after a big tide can turn entirely to clay and mud its very surreal. Much can be done here from fossil hunting to angling or just merely enjoying the scenery, crystal clear waters or on stormy days some very impressive waves can be witnessed with ample and reasonably priced parking you can't go wrong here!
