Well, as a very outspoken gansey fan, this museum was definitely for me. I feel that having spent time in here, along with some very helpful volunteers and other interesting facts, I have come to appreciate my gansey more, maybe even to the level of famous fisherman and gansey wearer, Willie Long. £16 for a family ticket isn’t to be sniffed at, although the viewing tower at the top is free. Other little known fact; I managed to get 214W on the hand crank in the wind farm exception. A target to aim for I think.

What a lovely museum! Hadn't planned to visit but glad we stumbled across this little gem to get out of the wind. Cheerful, welcoming staff with toys on hand to entertain our 3 year old. The exhibitions are well presented and informative. We have lived in the area a long time but still learnt alot about our local history. My teenage son liked testing his strength, learning about wind power and the viewing tower. There was a scavenger hunt for my middle child and a beautiful aquarium of local sea creatures. We spent a couple of hours here, it was very comfortable and good value for money. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Visited today, and loved everything about it. From a disability standpoint in particular, it was genuinely wonderful to be able to easily access 90% of the museum without issue (Mobility Scooter/Wheelchair access to 90% of the museum). Getting to access so much of the exhibit space was great, and they were all truly fascinating.

We were absolutely shocked to discover how interesting this museum was showing the history of Sheringham. The museum is a lot bigger than you expect and is reasonably priced which is why we went in. They had lots of lifeboats on show and a tower that overlooked the bay which amazing picture opportunity

A superb museum, beautifully laid out with lots of interesting exhibits from, old shop windows, local artists work, wind farm information, fishing industry, lifeboats and much more. Will definitely be back for another visit. Amazing what they have packed in to such a small space.
