A fantastic beach. My local. Great for walks to Seaton Sluice.
I don't want to tell you about this beautiful part of the North East coastline because then you'll visit and see how wonderful it is and then it won't always be my tranquil place to walk.😃
I grew up locally and whenever I come back I make a point of going to the beach here. It's a beautiful beach, you can walk really far or find a nice spot to relax, it's a great place to take the dog or the family. The war buildings are also really interesting, if that's your sort of thing. The ice cream nearby is fantastic, as is the chippy. And my new rescue dog loved her first beach trip!
Lovely sandy beach to walk on, goes from the Port of Blyth along for miles, from the 1st May to 30th September dogs are not allowed on the middle part of the beach. Free parking by the band stand. Lots of cafes for cakes, chips, drinks etc or bring your own sandwiches and flask. Not too far to a Coop and a Greggs.
Great splodge for a short walk. Always find someone for a chat and a play with your dogs. Easy beach access for all. Coffee to warm you up too
