It's hard to think this place is in the UK. It's a lovely beach with great sand and it's clean compared to other beaches. For parents it's a low cost day out. There is free parking but it's full fast or pay £5 at the local pub for parking. Take some sandwiches for lunch. The little shops on your way down to the beach have some offers on pop and some cheap fantastic kites, buckets and spades After your going to be hungry and there is a chippy. Get large portion of chips and small portions and will feed a family of 4/5 for £10 and kids will sleep on the way home. This is a great day out that won't cost you more than £20 if you wanted it to.

Great place to feel free and roam about the sand is nice but the sea can be very dangerous look for the flag to see if it's safe. There are places to eat with a few shops and arcades. A must is the local bakery. There are places to park in car parks payable on entry some people try to park on the beach but have got into difficulty so it's not advisable. You can go a short way on a walk way with a wheelchair but not to the actual beach or lighthouse

Absolutely stunning beach, can't believe we have never been before. Easy to access over sand dunes from parking area. Not suitable for wheelchair or pushchairs due to deep sand and left natural. Pure white sandy beach, plenty of sand dunes, lighthouse to explore and beyond parking a couple of small gift shops, pub, fish and chip shop and restaurant. Not much to do but when beach this special don't need anything else. Parking limited but £5 for all day
