Explore 17 acres of stunning gardens featuring over 8000 plant species across six linked themed spaces, perfect for family inspiration and outdoor enjoyment year-round.

The Bressingham Gardens and Nursery have been home to colour and drama since 1953, created by three generations of the Bloom family on what was originally grazing farmland. Today, the gardens showcase over 8000 species and varieties of plants displayed across 17 acres of breathtaking views and inspirational garden design. Visitors can wander through six linked gardens featuring everything from spectacular summer blooms to one of the finest winter gardens in the country. The venue is particularly family-friendly, offering a peaceful yet visually dramatic setting where children and adults alike can explore the evolving landscapes throughout the seasons. The gardens provide endless inspirational ideas for home gardeners, with plants propagated on-site in the working nursery beds. Families can enjoy garden tours, browse the plant shop, and discover how professional garden design brings together amazing trees, shrubs and plants in great displays. The former family home, Bressingham Hall, is a beautifully restored Georgian mansion available for family reunions and special occasions. The gardens are open between April and October for individual visits, with group bookings available year-round. Located in Norfolk/Suffolk, the gardens are conveniently positioned near other notable gardens including Anglesey Abbey, Cambridge Botanic Gardens, Helmingham Hall, and Beth Chatto's, making it part of an excellent regional garden trail.

Lovely garden's tranquil and plenty of seating as you wander around. Also you have access to the museum. You can pay a little extra to ride the 🚂 and the horses 🐴. There is a café or next door a restaurant and garden centre. Well worth the visit

Love it here. Thank you to the lovely cafe staff. They asked about allergies and i said strawberry so couldnt have an ice cream from the ice cream stall earlier as the scoops were used in all flavours so i was after a cup of tea from them instead. They offered to wash up an ice cream scoop and opened a fresh box of lemon meringue so i could have one. :)

We last visited 9 years ago and realy enjoyed the gardens . We visited yesterday and were left wondering what had happened. . There appeared to be a lot less garden open than there used to be and what was left was a mess.We left after 20 mins and went elsewhere , a waste of time and money. We should have read the recent reviews before we set out on our journey from Yorkshire.

This is a beautiful garden & grounds, ever developing especially in Foggy Bottom. You could spend hours there just enjoying the spectacle. We hadn't been for a few years & weren't disappointed. There's also the Steam trains as you go in & a lovely carousel. The gardens also need to be seen at different times if the year to see how it changes with the seasons.
