What a thoroughly enjoyable day for both children and adults. I've taken tons of photos but I don't wish to give away too much and spoil what is a labyrinth of discovery. While we certainly had beautiful weather today, I don't think it would have been hindered too much if it was rainy, so long as you dressed for it! As a family we had a number of laughs, usually at each other expense, and loved the twists and turns and surprises that hid around each corner. Be mindful there are plenty of steps, uneven floors and occasionally narrow passageways. While we are all fit and healthy - I do wonder how impacted the day would be for those less able - there would still be plenty to see but perhaps less to experience. There are also some dark, spooky areas which may not be suitable for the very young. Overall, I'd definitely recommend a visit for all ages. The playground was well positioned near a tuck shop. The food from the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced... And nothing was overcrowded, so the advanced ticketing clearly works. For the adults amount us, The Forbidden Corner is positioned in some absolutely beautiful countryside, with stunning quaint villages around which I would have loved to explore if I'd have known in advance I'd have allowed more time. ... And as a final note, while my sat nav accurately found the location given the postcode provided, it hadn't accounted for the twisty turning roads and how impactful this would be on the travel time of our journey. Thankfully we allowed extra time. Have yourself a great day out with (or without) the kids!

What an absolutely brilliant, bizarre, and magical place! We visited as a family and everyone from the kids to the grandparents was thoroughly entertained. It’s a massive labyrinth of hidden doors, tunnels, trick fountains, and strange statues. You get a checklist of things to find, which keeps you hooked the entire time. Definitely wear sensible shoes and be prepared to get a little bit wet!

Fantastic day out! So much fun for kids and adults. It is a labyrinth of weird and wonderful paths, indoors and outdoors. My husband is 6ft2 and he was fine, yes he had to watch his head in places, but it was fine. The underground walks were great - it can be slippery when wet. You might get a little wet but so much fun. There is a central location near the underground part to stop for snacks, ice cream etc, donunts were lovley. The pizza place next to the car park opens at 4pm. Wear suitable footwear. Clothing - anything is fine, you might get a little cold in the underground part but we were fine. This was a stop off for a half way point to Scotland and it was great, we would definitely recommend and return! We went on a Friday, we pre booked our tickets, it was busy but not overcrowded at all.

Absolutely fabulous day out. We are both over 60 bug spent the day walking round in circles, trying to find the sculptures in the leaflet and giggling like kidding. The place is amazing, despite being there 4 hrs I am sure we missed some bits. Great little cafe too. We will be back.b⁰⁰

Unique family fun. Great day out. Loads to do an explore. The park and gardens were very well maintained and well thought out. The labyrinth section is really good, if a bit weird and wonderful. Some very narrow passages and small, confined spaces that may not be for everyone and, at 6ft 5, they certainly provided me with some interesting situations. Kids play park as well as a water play garden were all great. Cafe and pizzeria on site but given the prices of food at these places I had taken my own. Absolutely stunning views to top it all off as well. The website recommends 2 hours for a visit but we were there for 3 and could have easily stayed longer. £50 for 1 adult and 2 kids and this was with a £3 blue light discount. Steep in price but highly recommend for a something a bit different.
