We hired the function room for a surprise 40th birthday party and it couldn't have been better. Kazzie was so helpful and accommodating. Great food, great music. Everyone had a great time. Zoe and Blake behind the bar were brilliant. Highly recommend!! 10/10

Good gym but honestly the head of reception (curly haired blonde lady) really needs to brush up on customer service skills. She was so rude to my child and I’ve seen it first hand on multiple occasions when speaking to others. All other receptionists are extremely helpful and friendly.

Visited to find out about membership and look around the facilities as new to the area. I was disappointed to be told the membership information is on the website and the gym is downstairs, changing rooms behind, swimming pool through those doors and a cafe and function rooms upstairs - have a look yourself. I asked about classes and she pointed to some leaflets behind me and she some are chargeable, depends what membership you choose. When I questioned the membership again she rolled her eyes and told me to look on the website. The lady on reception was the most unhelpful, miserable person and wasn't interested in providing good customer service at all. I asked if someone could show me around and I was told no. I simply turned around and walked back out. This was after struggling to find somewhere to park. There's a small pay & display car park immediately next to the centre, I waited just over 10 minutes and gave up waiting, so looked elsewhere. All on road parking was busy and had time restrictions. I think parking would've been an issue if I joined, especially during peak times. I've now joined a local gym down the road BH Live - which is great. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, much better experience here.

Excellent value gym with great facilities and welcoming atmosphere I’ve been a member at The Junction Broadstone for a while now and I’m really impressed with what you get for the price. At £15/month on a simple monthly contract (with blue light discount), it’s incredibly competitive - you’re not going to find better value in the area. Facilities: The free weights section has everything you need - squat racks, bench press, and a full range of dumbbells. They’ve also got plenty of machines if that’s your preference. The facilities are clean and well-maintained throughout. The changing rooms and showers are good quality - definitely a step up from budget gym chains, though not quite at premium gym levels. As a bonus, they have a sauna and steam room included, which is fantastic at this price point. No pool, but that’s not expected for £15/month. Atmosphere: Really welcoming environment with a good mix of people and no intimidating “lads only” vibe. Everyone’s considerate about sharing equipment - I’ve never had trouble getting on what I need, even during busy periods. The personal trainers are genuinely friendly and approachable, always saying hello and creating a positive atmosphere. The reception staff can be hit or miss in terms of friendliness - they’re running the entire leisure center so understandably stretched thin (typical of council-run facilities), but once you’re in the gym itself, everyone’s super friendly. Practical details: Parking in the main car park costs a couple of pounds per visit, which is worth factoring in. The studio hosts various classes, and the staff are flexible - as a dancer, they let me use the studio space to practice when it’s not being used for classes, even though it’s not technically part of my membership. Minor downsides: You have to cancel membership via email rather than in person, which is a bit annoying. It can get busy at peak times, but the respectful atmosphere means it’s never a problem. Overall, it’s not the fanciest gym you’ll ever see, but it ticks all the boxes for a solid, no-nonsense workout environment at an unbeatable price. Highly recommended.

Great place, with loads of different activities/businesses under one roof. Gym, swimming pool, soft play, nail and beauty treatments, and few others. Also has a cafe on the premises, overlooking the swimming pool and the car park. Car park is nearby, quite specious, pay and display (being checked for tickets regularly!). Has lift and reception right by the entrance, so you won't get lost. Net over busy place, which is quite good.
