The Pinnacle is Northampton's premier indoor climbing destination, operating three specialised centres since 2010. The flagship Climbing Centre features over 200 routes ranging from F2 to F8+ difficulty levels on a 12.5m wall, complete with 7 auto belays and an indoor cave system for adventurous climbers. The dedicated Bouldering Centre offers 70+ boulder problems (V0 to V8+) across all angles, plus a dedicated beginners area and themed kids rooms (Space Room and Mayan Room). Clip 'n Climb provides a family-friendly introduction with 32 different climbing walls suitable for ages 2+, accompanied by a soft play area, making it ideal for younger children and first-time climbers. All the team and my instructor JP were incredibly welcoming and helpful for my first time back climbing after a 6 year break. Went here for a first try training hour and had a brilliant time! Paul the instructor was great and took us through the different types of walls so you get a feel for everything. The bouldering room was great as well! Would definitely go again

Staff are all really friendly and a good laugh. JP was great as the instructor for our work group and catered for all levels of ability and experience. The pizza is really good as well.

I've done my climbing belay course with Paul who was great, overall all colleagues are super helpful. And the atmosphere is good, people help each other and I feel comfortable. Tried Pinnacle first time in 2019, and started climbing properly in 2025 - love it!
