Beautiful beach with the stunning backdrop of the mournes in the distance New toilets and outdoor showering facilities. Highly recommended
My first time visiting Tyrella Beach, I didn't even know it existed, and it sure is a well-hidden gem. The beach itself is vast, and hearing the waves crash on the beach bay is a beautiful sight to see, and seeing the Mourne Mountains from afar is another touch of magic if wanting to take photos.
Gorgeous views, amazing atmosphere. When we arrived we had no trouble finding a space as there was plenty of parking, we paid for the parking but seemed that later on there was no charge so probably depends on time and season. Its a lovely sandy beach that stretches a good while so you can make a nice walk of it or kick back relax and enjoy the pleasures of beach going. Had a small bbq going there last summer with friends and it was absolutely delightful.
Lovely beach where you can walk the dogs and just enjoy yourself.
Amazing sand beach I have ever been to. Before that I though Downhill beach was the best in Northern Ireland, but now I give Tyrella beach the same rank. It is not as wide as Downhill but it is so clean because dogs are not allowed here. The white, fine sand is very nice for kids to play. There is also a good view the of Mourne mountain. It definitely worth a GO every sunny day.
