Absolutely breathtaking beach with those famous 'big Norfolk skies.' One minute it's moody and dramatic, the next the sun is hitting the colourful stilted beach huts. The walk through the pine woods to get here is lovely, and the sheer scale of the sand at low tide is incredible. A must-visit if you’re on the North Norfolk coast!

This is my first ever venture into Norfolk. Not sure why it's taken me this long as it has some truly wonderful scenery and villages to visit. Wells-next-to-the-sea being a classic example. Loads of parking next to the RNLI boathouse (which is definitely worth a visit in its own right). The cafe there is quite nice and some acceptable public toilets. The beach itself is magnificent. If you time it right you might even catch some seals mooching abouts. A great destination and one I'm sure I'll visit again.

Another lovely beach. Paid parking but when we reached the beach it said no dogs. It was not well sign posted and a kind man told us to walk along under the trees to the left and up some steps over the dunes and we would be on the dog friendly part of the beach. Had he not helped we would have left. Once on the beach it was lovely…huts along the edge and some nice time spent.

A beautiful, expansive beach with wide sands, colourful beach huts, and endless skies. Peaceful and unspoilt, especially at low tide, with fantastic walks and sunsets. One of the best beaches on the Norfolk coast — perfect for relaxing or exploring.

First-timers on a sandy beach for the kids & dog! What a lovely place. We’ve been to stoney and shell beaches before but this tops the lot. Plenty of space for the dog to run to his heart’s content. Fetch with absolutely no hassle and so much space between other owners. Given we did go in December but nonetheless a wonderful experience! The café at the bottom of the car park is so nice too! Hot chocolates, coffees and cake with cold little hands. What a gorgeous place. Will definitely be returning!
