Great swimming teachers, however you have to queue before your child lesson and after. Always running late. Very hot inside. It is nice if you can get a seat at the cafe to watch at your child swimming. Previous management was so much better!

For the sheer inaccessibility. Their SEO on Google is poor and you end up on the wrong company website not helped by the obscure name (why not Chichester Leisure Centre??); and then you figure out which site it is and their website makes it incomprehensible when working out if you can simply take your child and go have a swim. Then you phone to ask, and it rings out with no voicemail facility and you try calling again and it immediately cuts out like they've cancelled the call. You can leave an online contact form but no doubt theyll take 2 days to call back given how hard it's been so far to find an answer. They have lost potential custom and membership all for the sake of their poor comms.

As a regular lane swimmer for the past 5 year, I've found the experience under the new management (More leisure) incredibly poor. There seems to be very limited comprehension of Pool management for lane swimming coupled with what appears to be a head in the sand approach to customer feedback. The App is byzantine and it's almost impossible to get through on the phone to reception.

Amazing pool for lane swimming. Now under new management who have made changes spoiling the experience for no reason other than it works in other centres. Very good at the corporate line, tell a good story but don't want to listen to the users.

I have never written a bad review or complained before at any company - this is the first. This evening ( 7pm Tuesday 03/02 ) me and my boyfriend went up to the desk to ask for 2 adult swimming sessions - we were told it was full, but we gathered that beforehand as we looked into the pool and it was very busy. The lady ( who wore glasses and was older ) bluntly said ‘we’re full.’ I don’t have a problem with this, but my boyfriend said ‘oh I’ll have a look at the swimming goggles then , might as well whilst I’m here’ and she looked at me and pulled a face and said ‘why?’ In a very judgemental tone. My boyfriend laughed this off and grabbed some goggles and she again said ‘why do you need them if you’re not going swimming?’ and again pulled a very judgey , sarcastic face at me. My boyfriend gave them to her to pay still , but I took the goggles away and said no we aren’t paying for them. Her attitude really put me off and I’ve never experienced such awful customer service. I’ve worked in many customer service jobs and hospitality and understand it can be hard and tiring, but there isn’t a need to be rude and have no manners. It’s completely put me off going to this gym, which is a shame as the staff member who helped us before was lovely and really helpful. One member of staff can really impact your experience if they’re rude, pulling faces and being sarcastic… i felt embarrassed by her reaction to us simply wanting to buy some goggles for our next time swimming, but we won’t be going here again.
