We visited the Hatchery this weekend and me and my friend’s kids (all different ages) loved it! Lots of fun things to look at, staff were knowledgeable and engaging and great merch too! You can even take your dog in. Definitely worth a visit and for a great cause too!

Incredible visit!! So so lovely, all the staff and volunteers are amazing and one member of staff amy showed us some amazing specimins from the back! The displays are beautiful qnd its so informative!! I would strongly recommend to everyone!!

Visited the Marine Discovery Centre with friends and it was a fantastic experience! 🦞✨ It is a really well-presented and interactive space. We loved learning about the native marine wildlife and seeing the lobster hatchery in action, the baby lobsters are a must-see! It’s clear that the staff are very passionate about what they do, and the whole place has a great, educational atmosphere without being boring. It's a perfect spot to spend an hour or so if you're in Whitby. Highly recommend popping in to see what's happening under the waves! 🌊🐙

Fantastic place to visit. Because it was quiet we were given a personal guided tour by one of the staff members the young lady was very knowledgeable and happy to talk to us about the sea life projects being undertaken for example the Lobster 🦞 hatchery. Totally recommend a visit as this helps with the sea life projects 👍🏼
