Lovely little farm/cafe. It's more suited to toddlers than older children, but that's not to say our 7 year old didn't enjoy it. About 4 enclosures of sheep, chickens, pigs and goats (food can be bought in the farm shop) - so don't expect to spend all day here. Between that and the cafe, great for young families for a couple of hours. Sunflower field is actually the farm next door, but they use the same car park/entrance. £3 per adult, under 12s free, pay on the gate. Recommended highly.

Have been going to Adam’s Happy Hens for quite a few years now. Always time for a chat and a smile,and great coffee, eggs and other produce. So this week after a quiet transformation the New Farm Shop opened oh my goodness Adam and staff have worked so hard to achieve this. He has really set a high standard for Chesterfield the farm shop is well laid out and plenty of tables both inside and out. There are cakes, tray bakes, bread cake sandwiches at only £3.50 yummy. Coffee and other drinks and he now has a license . Oh then there is ice cream and Danish pastries frozen to take home,, pizza and pies to eat on site or take home. Then plenty of animals to see and a huge field of sunflowers and wild flowers to pick. Happy days, well done and may your empire continue to grow.

Lovely small quirky place fantastic for a nice coffee or ice cream and lovely animals,we had a ice cream and it was very nice , some local produce in the little farm shop including loads of different eggs Which was nice to see

This place is truly legendary. We wandered in and was politely greeted by chickens, donkeys and goats. There were even ducks! We went to the farm shop and purchased lots of fresh milk in the classic glass bottle. We also grabbed some goat feeds, a cup of tea and a delicious brownie. All priced very reasonably and the staff were extremely friendly. We had a great time feeding the goats and saying hi to all of the farm yard animals. Plenty of parking, a great layout and good for children/ disabled people.

Such a lovely place! First time, me and my 2 year old boy was greeted by a lovely man who took the time to show us where to go. We thoroughly enjoyed feeding the animals who all looked so healthy and well cared for! We enjoyed a lovely coffee, brownie and sausage roll in the sunshine on the benches outside the cafe. We bought some lovely fresh eggs and bacon from the shop. Cannot wait to go back!
