We won five voucher codes at the St Christopher’s Primary summer fair in Ashton‑under‑Lyne for the Chatsworth farm and adventure playgrounds. Never been to Chatsworth House before and honestly, we were blown away — the farm and play areas are massive and really nice. The kids (4 and 1) absolutely loved it. We’ll definitely be going again.

This was our first visit to Chatsworth Farmyard & Adventure Playground, and we had a fantastic day out along with the House Tour and garden earlier that day. I visited with my children on Father's Day and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The adventure playground was brilliant and kept the children entertained for hours. The farmyard was definitely one of our favourite parts of the day. There were lots of different animals to see and feed, and the baby goats were absolutely adorable! Animal feed was available to buy for just £1.50 per bag, which was great value and added to the experience. There were a few kiosks around the site for drinks and snacks, which was convenient. We were also impressed by how much was included with our tickets, including access to the house, gardens, farmyard and playground, making it a full day out. Overall, a wonderful family day out with plenty to see and do. We would happily visit again and would highly recommend it to other families.

An absolutely fabulous day out for my 11 year old daughter's birthday. Paid for gardens and playground access. Did an Easter activity making rafts out of sticks and string to sail in the trout stream - was a beautiful warm day so we dipped our feet in the stream! Loved the rockery garden, the maze, the tunnel, the fountain, the playground, the farm, the scenery, the ice cream vendors - still didn't get to explore everything. Worth it 💯

Amazing place for adults and children. We arrived for the first entrance wave at 10.30am. Car park was already getting busy. The house is beautiful and everyone found something new, inspiring and interesting. Took us (adt + 2kids under 10) about 1h10min in the house. And then the gardens...we decided to take the tractor (paid extra!) to furthest point and walk back. About 3h later we came to the gate. Amazing! Kids LOVED the gardens. Small break, and then the playground surrounded by all sorts of animals - this is easy and extra hour (cut short) but could be half a day easy just at the playground. Overall Amazing day trip.

My 1-year-old daughter had a fantastic day at Chatsworth Farmyard. The animals appear very well looked after, and they have plenty of room to roam around. It was fantastic to see the lambs, calves and foals, who had just been born a few days before our visit. The adventure playground is ideal for children a little older than my child, and I will definitely be bringing her back when she is able to use more on the playground. The only thing that would make the experience even better is to see a few more animals as it doesn't take very long to see them all. The gift shop is definitely worth a visit for little nature lovers, though!
