Free entry to this castle. Another gorgeous castle ruins that we visited on our holiday. Stunning scenery and good information boards around the castle grounds. We parked just down the road in the village and walked up as there is no specific car park for the castle. Expect to spend around about an hour here.

We had a nice walk around the castle. There's a cafe selling food and icecream direct from the local farm. You can also but butter from the farm.

Having seen the castle feature heavily on Rueben Owens TV show(which by the way is worth a watch if you missed) it was good to finally visit. Whilst the walk from the farm to the castle is short best to be aware the castle grounds are uneven cobblestones which some might find quite difficult - worth it though

Lovely little stopover for tea and cake, or some delicious ice cream. Lots of homemade goodies and dairy for sale. We were lucky to see the newly born lambs and calves.

Parking is in the town with a short walk to the castle. Before reaching the castle there is a cafe/ice cream parlour with seating inside and out. Small children's play area. The castle it's self is in ruinious condition which I much prefer so you can use your imagination when reading the imformation boards. A nice wander around Even tho the wind was howling.
