Interactive exhibition upon entry with a lovely little gift shop. Entry cost was reasonable and worth a visit. The castle is a ruin and there are many informative pieces as you walk through the grounds. The views out to sea and across the bay are spectacular!

The views over to Black Rock Sands were stunning. Full of history. Dogs are not allowed on the beach.

Im not a fan of castles but my partner is. This castle was alright. Quite small but only cheap to get in. But the veiws from the castle were great. Id say worth a visit if your into castles.

Good place to stop and take a look around, if you are not planning to stay the day there. There are many rock pools on the cafe side of the beach, with castle on opposing end. Easy access via the train station from Pwllheli and opposite end of line. Visited several times over 20 years.

Good castle on the south coast of the Llyn peninsula. It has great views of the coast and the mountains of Snowdonia. Steep climb to get to it so not really suitable for the elderly and infirm. Some steep drops so children have to be supervised. The visitor's centre has some historical context on the castle.
