Walked around the ruins of the old castle, gives you a little insight into how people worked and lived in past times.
Stunning ruin located right in the heart of the village of Rhuddlan. This site is so fun to explore and has many interesting displays. The price feels reasonable and you can see the entire site extensively in an afternoon or a shorter hour or two at a push. I was pleasantly surprised to find that even though we visited on a weekday afternoon during half-term there was still plenty of convenient parking available. The staff in the visitor center were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Lovely short walk around the castle, very friendly and informative lass at the visitors centre. Toilet is a portaloo (very mixed messages as to whether there's a toilet on the premises). Free parking but £6.50 to view the castle.
Lovely castle ruins, with great views. Such an important part of Welsh / English History. Easy parking right next to the reception area, car park holds maybe about 20 ish places with a couple of disabled bays. You can climb to the top with even better views via a spiral internal staircase. Wide courtyard also. Love visiting castles and enjoying imaging what it was like when it was occupied.
Beautiful castle.. easy parking. Lovely 360 views lovely inside and from views across the river. No major info centre just easy access. Lovely place and definitely worth a visit if staying anywhere on the north Welsh coast. Been this place a number of times just as Lovely in the night
