Loved visiting this castle time. came Here, a month ago on my holiday,liked looking out on the views at the top over the sea in the town is really nice. The steps are a little bit too steep, though, a little bit scary, but apart from that, we would recommend visiting here if you like castles.

Great castle to visit, with views of Castletown from the top. Not crowded like many of the other castle I have visited.

Set in centre of Castletown free for national trust or £14 admission. A well preserved castle. With dungeon to right has you enter. Can walk around walls great view of town. The central tower area, operates on one way. Be sure when climbing steps to visit each floor exhibitions. The view from top is amazing of town and surrounding countryside. Then go down opposite side. Informative staff within the castle area.

Really amazing castle lots to see and do. Well worth a visit.

Not the best of days outside but it was surprising how warm it was inside the castle rooms. You start in the timeline room and then head to watch a video about the castle. Then you start your journey up the spiral staircase in to the rooms on each level until you get to the top. It was fun been up on the tallest turret with some strong winds to buffet you. Worth a visit and I am sure it would be lovely on a sunny day too!
